Tony Hawk is my hero because it is he who inspired me to start skateboarding. I also like him because he is very good and he wins a lot of medals and is very well known around the world for his athleticism. The most contributing factor as to why he is my hero is because he does charity work for the people that are not able to skateboard like the ill and handicapped.

In 2003, skateboarding legend Tony Hawk was hit with the worst injury of his career when he fractured his pelvis."I was goofing off with the wild boys that's the first hint of trouble. We were doing a 360 loop, like a hot wheel track and I had been doing it on tour every night. I went to a different loop and I took it for granted that I can do this every night. The loop was just a little bit off and I was a little bit off but neglected to mention another key contributing factor, I was dressed as a gorilla." (Tony Hawk,2003)

Tony Hawk, the greatest skateboarder of all time, is an American who was born in Carlsbad, California. He is a professional skateboarder that competes in competitions to win medals and also to prove that he is the best. He is one of the most decorated skateboarders. One of the most important accomplishments of his career is probably when he won the gold medal at the x games, which is a competition in professional skateboarding that most of the best attend.

My hero is Tony Hawk because I think he is amazing at multiple things. How can't you like him?? He is amazing at skateboarding, he helps society and he also helps young children learn how to skateboard. I think that is why he is the perfect hero.

Tony Hawk, a native of Carlsbad, California, is one of the best and will always be the greatest skateboarder to ever live; but he is not only an incredible skateboarder, but an incredible help to humanity. He has great devotion to his son and to helping other children. He has recently helped fund charities for the needy and the disabled.
