My hero is an unknown lady. She is unknown because I don't know her but if it wasn't for her I probably wouldn't be here writing this story today. I hope one day we will meet again but I will never be able to thank her for what she has done.
About 5-6 years ago I lived on Kings Canyon behind Wal-Mart. It was late one afternoon and my mom wasn't home. It was only my brother, my sister, my nephew and I. My nephew and I had been waiting for the ice-cream truck all day and it was finally coming. My sister and brother didn't want to walk us out so we walked ourselves. I took a little longer than my nephew to decide what ice-cream i wanted so he crossed the street without me. When I was done paying for my ice-cream my nephew told me to run across the street. I listened to him because he's older than me (weird). BOOM! I was smacked by a truck that came from around the curb. My brother and sister were still in the house so my nephew ran in to tell them what happened but they didn't believe him. After I was hit the driver left the scene. I was laying in the street helpless, nose busted, lips busted, body scraped and blistered. Here comes another car without headlights. At this time it was dark. I thought my life was over. Another car swerved it front of the car without headlights and a lady jumped out, picked me up and carried me into my yard. If ot hadn't been for her my life would probably be gone. I don't remember what happened after that. I woke up in the hospital. I wish we could meet again but I will never be able to repay her for what she has done. She is my hero .
