Usher Raymond IV is my hero because he doesn't care so much about being famous. He is a regular person like you, me and the people around us.

Usher's full name is Usher Terry Raymond IV. He was born in Dallas, TX. He was raised in Chattanooga, TN and Atlanta, GA. His mother/ manager is Jonnetta Patton. She moved Usher and his younger brother James Patton to Atlanta when was Usher was 12 years old. When he was 6 years old, he started singing in his mother's choir and Usher performed in many talent shows. Once when he was in a talent show, in 1992, Usher was spotted by Bryant Reid, brother of Antonio Reid, producer of LaFace Records. That's how Usher was introduced to a record company.

Did you know that Usher had to live with Sean " P. Diddy " Combs, while making his first album in 1994?
