Volunteer first aid trainers train for a long time to learn the skills they need to help save peoples lives.

Volunteer ambulance officers are one of the most important community workers.

Volunteer ambulance officers help people who are sick, injured and also aged and disabled people in the community.

Ambulance officers can be called at anytime to go and help people in need.

We are in year 4 at primary school in Kalannie, Western Australia. We have been learning about heroes and we think that volunteer ambulance officers are true heroes.
