Winston Churchill

Winston Churchill was born on November 30, 1874 in Oxfordshire, England. Randolph Churchill, Winston's father, was a British politician. He had an American mother named Jennie Jerome. When Winston was little he had a nanny to take care of him and he really loved her, but when he got older he went to boarding schools. When he was young he got in trouble a lot. He got average grades, but he was really good at History and English.
After his short job in the army, he became a Conservative Member of Parliament in 1990. During the Second World War, he was made First Lord of the Admiralty. His writing career began with campaign reports.
Winston Churchill was Hitler's only enemy, his leadership in the World War II made him popular.
