The world would be different without Walt Disney, there is not one kid in America that has never watched a Walt Disney movie. Walt Disney, a pioneer person who started a whole new world of animations with music and sound effects. He followed his dreams and did not stop working on them. Hardworker, pioneer and creator. Walter Elias Disney was born in Chicago in 1901, he grew up on his uncle’s farm near Marceline. His ideas of drawing animals were based on the animals he had in the farm. During the silent-film era, disney created a whole new entertainment industry, his first successful creation was Mickey Mouse (the first animation with sound effects). Years after he started with full length movies like The Little Mermaid. After all of his successful movies, he wanted to do something new where a whole family could have fun together, so he started his first theme park in Anaheim, California. After that one they did some others around the world. Walter Disney died in 1966.

Walt Disney invented a whole new family entertainment industry that created a whole new concept of cartoons. This quote is significant because it basically shows the things Walt Disney did in his life in a short way that is not very hard to understand. It is not always easy to take the risk of doing something no one else has done before “An American filmmaker and entrepreneur, Walter Elias Disney created a new kind of popular culture in feature-length animated cartoons and live-action family films” (Encyclopedia of World Biography). This is significant because it shows how Walt Disney actually created something that no one ever saw before on television, Walt Disney is a brave man that did what he always wanted to do. Walt Disney was a creative pioneer person who started a new culture of watching movies, and after theme parks.

Walt Disney is a hero because he inspires people around the world in how his art became so famous worldwide. His creation is one of the most popular of all “Walt Disney found success as an animator, producer of motion pictures and television productions, and a founder of theme parks and other family entertainment enterprises.” (Discovering Biography). This quote is significant because it shows how Walt Disney was a successful man that his creation was a total success. Sometimes life is too short for people that have an amazing talent. “In 1954 Disney successfully invaded television, and by the time of his death, the studio Disney had produced 21 full length movies, 493 short subjects, 47 live-action films, 7 true life adventures features, 330 hours of Mickey Mouse Club television programs, 78 half hour Zorro television adventures, and 280 other television shows.” (notablebiographies). This quote is very important because it shows how Walt Disney made things no one else could do, his imagination had no limits at all. Walt Disney is an inspiration for artists because he proves that there are no limits if you believe in yourself.

Walt Disney is an inspiration for me because he created something that every single kid passes by in America and in other countries in the world. Families in America love Disney’s work because it is something families can really enjoy together “Disney’s creative output became the standard for family entertainment in modern America.” (Discovering Biography). This quote is significant because shows how Walt Disney was capable of setting a new culture in an entire country and in most countries of the world. Everyone loves Walt Disney movies and people outside America make special trips just to go to Disney’s parks. There are many people who work very hard to be like him. Sometimes a well done job can become something beyond popular, “He combined technical innovation with a progressive outlook and a keen sense for popular tastes, serving as the force behind some of the nation’s best-loved cultural icons.” (Discovering Biography). This quote is significant because shows how Walt Disney really created something on one thought it would be successful, so there are people outside that have wonderful ideas but they don't want to show them because they are not sure if it will succeed. Walt Disney demonstrated that if you believe in your dreams they will be totally successful. Walt Disney inspires people on trying new things that other people think it is not good, but that person could be one in a million.

Many people watch Walt Disney movies and they just say it's good, but not everyone gets a little bit inside the art. Walt Disney has been one of the most creative persons in the world, not only movies, but theme parks around the world. There is no kid on this planet that does not love Walt Disney, an inspirational man that never stopped believing he could make it. Walt Disney had very hard times as a kid, he lived with his uncle on his farm where he got his ideas to draw, he used to work for a newspaper but they fired him because “he did not have enough imagination”, Walt Disney did not believe them and gave it a try to what he really wanted, some people say “if you have never failed... you have never lived. Walt Disney was a pioneer creative man who believed in himself. He started a new American culture due to his creativity and hard work.
