"Walt Disney was one of the great pioneers of filmmaking and the creator of several classic films" (Walt Disney). These qualities make Disney so amazing. A hero must possess bravery and creativity. Bravery means that the hero is courageous and willing to take risks. Creativity is making something new and valuable. Walt Disney is worthy of the title hero because he possesses bravery and creativity.

Walt Disney is a hero because he is brave. Before he became a cartoonist, "Disney dropped out of high school at age 17 to serve in World War I" (Walt Disney). He wanted to follow his brother, Roy but he was rejected because of his age. He is brave because he is willing to go to war at a young age. In all the theme parks, Disney was brave to, "Theme parks best exemplify the Disney culture of control" (Disney, Walt). Disney was able to achieve control within his business. He was able to maximize his resources and made a good business out of it. Walt Disney may not have fought in World War I, but the will to serve is what makes him brave.

Walt Disney should be a hero because he is creative. When he became a cartoonist, he made, "Their first breakthrough came with their application of sound to their cartoons - immortalized in the 1928 short film Steamboat Willie" (Rasmussen).  Steamboat Willie was considered creative when it was first shown because it's the first film to have sound. Its success made Disney continue making cartoons with audio. While Disney was making Steamboat Willie, "Disney was an innovative animator and created the cartoon character Mickey Mouse" (Walt Disney). Mickey Mouse is a very creative character and because of that, he became Disney's mascot. He is also creative enough to appear in modern movies and TV shows. Disney invented cartoons with sound and his creativity is shown for doing that.

Disney's bravery and creativity are the reasons why he is a hero. He inspires people that everything is possible as long as they work hard. Disney is also inspirational for always doing high quality work. It's a good reminder for people to give their best in everything they do. He is a good reminder for people to keep trying and don't give up if we face challenges in life. If many people are like Disney, the world will become a better place.
