Walt Disney

My hero is Walt Disney. Walt Disney had four brothers and one sister. His father was Elias Disney and his mother was Flora Call. Walt was interested in earlier arts. He pursued his art career at McKinley High school in Chicago. During the fall of 1918, he wanted to be in the military. After making his "Alice Comedies" he was a well known Hollywood figure. His dream was to create an amusement park and it came true. Disneyland and Disneyworld were created. Walt Disney won sixty-four academy award nominations.

He sold his paintings to his neighbors when he was young.

Walt Disney lived in Chicago, Illinois. After Walt's birth, the Disney family moved to Marceline, Missouri. Walt lived most of his childhood in Marceline. During the fall of 1918, he was sent to France on a military mission.

Walt Disney was born on December 5, 1901 in Chicago, Illinois in a family of 7. He died on December 15,1966, from lung cancer.

Walt Disney is my hero because Disney Channel is one of my favorite television channels. Without this channel, watching television would be boring. Disneyworld is a very fun amusement park. I can never forget how much fun I had at Disneyland. I think Walt Disney is a true hero.
