Walter Elias Disney, also known as Walt Disney, was born in Chicago, Illinois, on December 5, 1901. He was born into a family of five, three older brothers, mom and dad. Later on, another sibling was born, She was Walt Disney's younger sister. Walter and his older brother Roy later founded Walt Disney productions together. Roy was the co-founder and Walter was the founder of their company, which later became one of the best known motion picture companies in the world.

Walt Disney was considered by others a role model to youths. " Walter Elias Disney, known throughout most of his life as Walt Disney, was born on December 5, 1901, in Chicago, Illinois. He had three older brothers and a younger sister." ("Walt Disney." Business) Walt had to live his life with sibling and in the year 1901. His life ending up successful because he worked hard and didn't stop what he believed on. "Twenty-two Academy Awards; seven Emmy Awards; three Golden Globes; Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, 1960; Presidential Medal of Freedom, 1965; Freedom Foundation Award, 1965." ("Walt Disney." Encyclopedia) This shows what you can accomplish when you put your mind to it. He worked hard on what he was exceptional at and what he liked and it ended up working out in the long run. "8-year-old Walt Disney was doing what he did at that time every morning--hand rolling the hundreds of copies of the Kansas City Morning Times that he would soon place behind the screen doors of subscribers all along his route." ("Walt Disney." Biography) Even as an 8 year-old, Walt Disney worked hard to achieve success. Though, it wasn't animation at the time but he persisted and kept his head in the game. "He won 22 Academy Awards during his lifetime, and was the founder of theme parks Disneyland and Walt Disney World." (Biography.com Editors) In the end, he was awarded prestigious awards during his lifetime and during this he created theme parks including Disneyland and Walt Disney world.

Looking back at Disney's work, we have realized Walter changed the industry of entertainment forever. "Walt Disney was one of the great pioneers of filmmaking and the creator of several classic films, most notably his feature-length animated films such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Pinocchio" ("Walt Disney." Business) Walt Disney has created the biggest most known cartoons in the history of cartoons. He carved the path for many other animators. "An American filmmaker and entrepreneur, Walt Disney (1901-1966) created a new kind of popular culture in feature-length animated cartoons and live-action "family" films." ("Walt Disney." Encyclopedia) Walter was an entrepreneur and filmmaker that created the most iconic feature-length animated family films. "Disney's great dream opened on July 17, 1955...Yet, in the next seven weeks, more than a million people walked down Disneyland's Main Street USA." ("Walt Disney." Biography) He completed his business in filmmaking but kept in the entertainment and created his dream, an amusement park. He stuck with it and later, over a million people were there. "On December 21, 1937, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the first full-length animated film, premiered in Los Angeles. It produced an unimaginable $1.499 million, in spite of the Depression, and won a total of eight Oscars." (Biography.com Editors) While being the one who created a great theme park, he also created some of the greatest animated films. Walt was not a one trick pony, he could do it all proving to everyone that anyone can do anything.

Closing in to the end of Walt Disney, we see that he has received many awards for his countless changes to the entertainment business. He died on December 15, 1966 in Los Angeles. He lived till he was 65. If we recap on his life, we see the many accomplishments and changes to entertainment. His shows and movies are still being shared and loved by families all over the world.Walt Disney even get to see his masterful creation come to life, It was Disneyland. Even though Walter Elias Disney died, Disneyland will always be the happiest place on Earth.
