Everyone has heard of Disney movies. Disney movies are famous all over the world and the creator of these magical films is known as Walt Disney. Disney was a very creative man. He created many wonderful things and received many awards. Walt Disney started out as a dropout and failed many times but with his determination, hard work and by never giving up, he achieved what he had dreamed of his whole life. Walt Disney was one of the most successful movie producers, cartoonists, voice actors, and motion picture producers in the world. He was the person that made children’s dreams come true by achieving his passion through hard work, determination and by never giving up.

Walt Disney was one of the most successful movie producers, cartoonist, voice actor, and motion picture producers in the world. He was the person that made children’s dreams come true by achieving his own through hard work, determination, and by never giving up. Disney created films that were and still are very popular around the world. Walter Elias Disney was born on December 5, 1901. He was the fourth out of five children. He grew up with no toys, games, or television. He kept himself entertained by drawing cartoons. At age 17, he dropped out of high school and served in World War 1 as an ambulance driver. After serving he came back to his home and tried many times to set up his own studio and failed. Finally, he built his own studio at the back half of a real estate office. His brother, Roy, and Walter’s wife, Lilly Disney, helped him. Lilly helped with their first success, Mickey Mouse and Steamboat Willie. After that, the Disney’s made many films such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Pinocchio. It didn’t take long till the films became popular all over the world. And because of that he received many awards and was very happy. But in his success, he was diagnosed with Lung cancer. Years of smoking had caught up with him and he died in December 15, 1966. But after his death the Disney Company are still producing many more movies and carrying Disney’s work. Although he failed numerous times, he still never gave up and that’s what leads to his successful life.

Walt Disney was very determined to be successful in his life and be what he wanted to be. Even when he barely had education. “At 17, Walt Disney dropped out of high school and served in the World War 1 driving an ambulance around and then came back to his homeland” (Fagan1). This shows that even though he dropped out of school he was still determined to do something better with his life. He was also determined because even during the war he still was determined to get what he wanted. “He needed a lot of help and even though he failed many times he was determined to one day succeed in his life” (Smith 3). He wanted to do something great in his life and he wanted it so badly. Disney also did not care how many times he failed the only thing he was determined to do was to make his own studio and produce movies that not only kids could enjoy but adults as well. He was determined to be what he is now, but he didn’t make it to the top with just determination but with also by never giving up and with hard work.

It was not easy for Walt Disney but that never stopped him from trying his best. He always worked hard in the studio with his brother and wife. “His first animation was when he made his first animation film, Mickey Mouse and Steamboat Willie” (Benson1). This shows that he was willing to work his best and he did and he achieved his dream. Disney also worked hard to make his films and movies something everyone enjoyed no matter what age they were and it became successful not with just some but every movie that he has ever made. Disney did not want only the children to enjoy his magical films but also the adults. “He tested ideas and stories by telling other people about it and learned from their reactions”(Benson 2). This shows one of the ways he did to create something so wonderful. This also shows that he liked to experiment his ideas and stories to others and by looking at what they did, it taught him if the idea or story was good or bad. He worked hard to make everyone enjoy his magic. Walt Disney was one of the most successful person in the world, but he did not reach the top of the mountain by just sitting and daydreaming. By working hard he turned his daydream to his life.

No matter how many times he failed he never ever gave up hope. At first Walt Disney was a failure. He tried making his first studio but it never turned out so well. Until finally he succeed in making his own studio. It was the back half of a real estate office. It was small but always better than nothing. (Fagan1). This shows that he did not give up even though he was not successful. This also shows that he did not give up hope even though his work was not going well. “Disney sent some of his drawings to different companies and every single one was rejected, but he still kept trying” (Smith 2). This shows that even though many of his drawings were turned down Walt kept trying no matter what. This also shows that he believed in himself that he would be able to one day attain his dream he longed for. Disney’s hope for not giving up led him to become very successful even after his death.
