Will Ferrell

 John William Ferrell is an American comedian, impersonator, actor and writer. He was born July 16, 1967 in Irvine, California. His parents are Roy Lee Farrelln a Guitarist for the band The Righteous Brothersn and Betty Kay Farrelln an elementary school teacher. He has an older brother named, Patrick Farrell. John William Ferrell later became know as Will Farrell and some nicknamed him Wilf.

Will grew Up in Irvine and attended University High School there. He was a good student and was the kicker for the football team. Will still holds the record for the most field goals kicked. Will refers to his hometown Irvine, as a safe small town. His main form of entertainment was cracking his friends up and exploring new ways of being funny. He says his humor broke the boredom of small town living. Will Ferrell has really stood out as one the most celebrated comedian actors that Hollywood has ever had. When Will was in high school he wanted to be a Sports Broadcaster. While he attended the University of Southern California he took Sports Information classes. He graduated in 1990 with a Sports Information degree, he then decided he didn't want to be a Broadcaster. So he enrolled in comedy classes and also started working on being an impersonator.

In 1995 Will joined Saturday Night Live. SNL had a dip in popularity, then Will joined the cast and popularity grew again. During his time on SNL he really became known for his impersonations of President George Bush, Singer, Neil Diamond and Senator Ted Kennedy to name a few. A couple other well known actors on SNL was Alec Baldwin and Drew Barrymore. Will was the highest paid cast member on SNL with a season salary of 350,000.00. Final appearance on SNL was on May 18, 2002. Will then went into full time movie acting.

In August of 2000 Will Ferrell married Viveca Paulin, a Swedish actress and auctioneer. They met in 1995 in an acting class. They have 3 sons, Magnus 9, Mattias 6 and Axel 3. Will Ferrell enjoys being their father. They live in New York and Los Angeles. Every summer they spend a few weeks in Gnesta, Sweden, where they own a cottage. Viveca Paulin Ferrell is currently an auctioneer at the Los Angeles Modern Auctions.

Will Ferrell has starred in 42 films since 1995. His first film was Saturday Night Live. In 2003 he was finally announced as a Hollywood Star in his performance in the holiday movie, Elf. It was a surprising box office hit. His latest movie is The Legend Continues that will be released in December 2013.
