Will Ferrell is the man. Whatever movie he stars in, it is bound to be funny. My all time favorite is Elf. Anyone who knows me can testify that I watch it at least five times during the Christmas season. More of his productions include: Step Brothers, Old School, Talladega Nights, Blades of Glory, and his newest film, The Other Guys. He also recently guest-starred on the hit show The Office.

John William “Will” Ferrell was born in 1967 in California. Ferrell is considered a member of the “Frat Pact,” which is a group of comic actors who emerged in the 1990s. Aside from his main role as an actor, he is also a great impressionist, writer and comedian. He began his career as an original cast member on Saturday Night Live. I saw his impersonating skills first-hand when I went to the U.S. Open and he came out dressed as one of the players.

With his Swedish wife and three sons, he currently resides in both New York City and Orange County, California. His estimated net worth is $80 million. He does his fair share of philanthropy through many programs that help benefit Cancer for College. This organization is near and dear to Ferrell’s heart because his friend, Craig Pollard, is a two-time cancer survivor, and founded the non-profit program to help cancer patients pay for college. Ferrell is not your typical hero, but I admire him because he is good at what he does, and uses his talents to entertain society.
