When you think of a hero, what do you think of? Do you think of cartoon characters who have cool superpowers? Well to me those types; of heroes are hard to relate to because they don’t face the hardest villain ever called reality. My type of hero is someone that does face reality and strives to get better and better every day. My hero is Will Smith because he is a family man, a charitable individual, and a skilled entertainer.

Will Smith is a great role model and a good family man. In spite of all his success he always has time for his family. Will is married to Jada Pinkett, an actress who played in movies like the Nutty Professor, and the Clumps. Will was once married to Sheree Elizabeth Zampino and had a child with her. His name is Willard Christopher Smith the 3rd. Four years after Willard was born, Will and Sheree call it quits. After the split Will ran into his future wife on the set of Fresh prince of Bel-Air. Two years later he proposed to her. Now Will and Jada have two more kids, Willow and Jaden. That Will Smith takes these kids everywhere with him. Not only is Will a family man but he is a charitable man as well.

Will Smith has taken his experiences as a family man and turned them into something he and his wife can project into their community. Will and Jada founded the Will and Jada Family Foundation in the inner city. What this foundation does is focus on education and inner city family welfare. On top of being a good family man and a charitable donator, Will has grown to be a skilled entertainer.

As a skilled entertainer, Will has played many different roles and played a wide variety of different characters. With every film Will comes out with, the box office is sure to be in for a treat. Movies like I-Robot, I Am legend, Men in Black 1 and 2, and Pursuit of Happyness brought in over 100 million dollars at the box office. Will is still making movies and coming out with the same energy as he did when he started. In the end Will has played a very important part in raising the bar.

Future actors and actresses can indeed look up to Will Smith. Not only do these actors and actresses have to be outstanding on film, but off camera as well. I only hope that people will take what Will has done and use it to better themselves. We could learn from and follow the path that Will and Jada have laid before us; we would make this world a better place. Will Smith is sure to be a heroic model to future generations to come.
