Will Smith

My hero is a popular rapper who had a lot of success switching to a movie star. That person is Will Smith. I chose Smith because he is a great motivation, a generous person, and a hilarious man.

Will Smith has starred in many movies. Including Hitch, Independence Day, Shark Tails, iRobot, and many other movies. Smith stood up for himself when they filmed the movie Hitch. During the filming, he refused to kiss another man as a part of the movie.

Along with being a great inspiration, Will is also kind, generous, and giving. Some examples of his kindness are that he donated $75,000 to Youth Build. Youth Build is a youth and community development program that simultaneously addresses core issues facing low-income communities.

And when he was in high school, Will was nicknamed “Prince” for his charming antics. I watch a lot of the reruns for the show Fresh Prince of Bel-Air a lot, and it’s a great show. Smith has credited his son for helping him improve his act. He believes that hard work, not talent, made him a star. I look up to Will Smith as a hero, and a role model for his generosity, kindness and inspiration. As both an actor and just as himself, he is all around funny.
