Wendel was born in Kelvington, Saskatchewan October 25, 1966. He is 5”10” and around 194 libs. His first team was the Saskatoon Blades. After playing for them he went on to be drafted by the Toronto maple leafs. Wendel played for the leafs for 13 years!

Do you know what his nickname is? Well it is Captain Crunch.

Wendel is my hero because he is a awesome player and I am kind of like him because I was captain of my team in 2006-07 season but, he was captain longer. He is also my hero because he is a top notch scorer and he has a funny nickname{Captain Crunch}.
