Dwayne Wade has 3 sisters Tragil, Deana, and Kena. He was born in Chicago on January 17, 1982. His mom and dad got divorced so Dwayne lived with his mom till he was eight. Then Dwayne Wade’s oldest sister sent him off in a bus to the suburbs of Illinois, Chicago with his dad. There, Dwayne Wade started to improve his game and his grades. Then he went into a college called Marquette. Then Dwayne Wade got picked 5th in the NBA draft because of his Basketball skills, courage, and his team leadership.

Dwayne Wade is good at basketball because if his offence and defense. Dwayne Wade got the best defensive player award because he risks his body for charging fouls. He is good in offence for 2 reasons. One, he is the leading scorer for his team, and risks his body in offence because if there is someone in front of him who is a foot taller that him he will go for a lay-up and get 3 points. Dwayne Wade is also a team leader because he does what it takes to win a basketball game. He also got the MVP award. Not only that, but he led Marquett to their first NCCA final four since 1997. Dwayne Wade also scored 710 points in 2002-2003 which is a Marquette single season record.

Dwayne Wade made a difference in my life by showing me that you can do whatever you want even if you aren’t good at it. All you have to do is try. He also got me to like basketball by the way he plays. I haven’t seen him personally but I would like to. That is why Dwayne Wade is good in his Basketball skills, courageous, and has team leadership.
