Dwayne Wade is an NBA superstar who has the determination and the skill to school you with one hand behind his back. He can shoot and lay it up with great skill. His speed of all of these skills gives him the nickname "the Flash." The fact that he is a great player is the reason that he is my hero.

Dwayne Wade has been in the NBA for two years and he already has been on the Dream Team, was the Miami Heat's leading scorer, and made the cover of the 2006 NBA Live. The better he gets, the more people join the fan club. I think that he could be the next Michael Jordan.

The reason that I say that he could be the next Michael Jordan is because of his stats. During the finals he averaged 45 points per game. His team made to the Eastern Conference finals. He doesn’t have an outrageous shooting average like Steve Nash but it is a great average at a 24.1 while Steve Nash is a 33.3. That is the only thing that he is not the greatest at.

All of these things make me want to do better in the sports that I play. I hope that one day I make it to the NBA. Even if I don’t, I still will have the feeling that I did my best, like my hero Dwayne Wade.
