Walter Camp

A hero is a person who’s there for you and makes you happy. A hero is someone special. Walter Camp is my hero, and always will be.

I think he made a huge difference in my life, because if we didn’t have football, then I wouldn’t know what to do on the weekends anymore. Football is my life. I’m sure a lot of other people in the world like football too. If they didn’t have football, they would go crazy also.

Walter Camp was a coach for a rugby team, and he thought that rugby was a little cheesy. When he went home, he changed up the rules, and created football. It took him a while to change the rules and make some changes, but he finally created football.

Camp grew up in New Britain, Connecticut, with his parents Leverett and Ellen Cornwell Camp. Football is my passion and it always will be. Whenever I play football, it makes me happy, because it is my favorite sport. In football you not only have to have physical strength, but you always have to have mental strength as well.

Walter Camp is my hero because he was the creator of football, and I love football. Everyday I think about what I would do if I didn’t have this hero. My life would have been a wreck, that’s all I can say.
