When Mike was young he liked to play hockey but he wasn’t the greatest around and then he started to play golf and became the greatest Canadian golfer in the world.

Mikes charities:Sunshine Dream for Kids,Alzheimer Society, and Putting for Preemies. The Sunshine Dream for Kids foundation is kids with life threatening illnesses that don't have much time left. Since Mike became pro he started with the Sunshine Dream for Kids. The Alzheimer Society is when sponsors help out the people with Alzheimers Disease.

When Mike was 10 he played hockey. When he turned 12 he started to play golf and gave up hockey. When he started to play golf he was a natural at the sport and decided to give up hock and become a golfer. Mike became pro when he was 22 in 1992.

Mike is my role model because after I saw all the pros on T.V. I wanted to play golf too. Mike Weir is my favorite golfer and the best Canadian golfer who ever lived. Mike Weir really inspired me to play golf. I started to play golf like 3 years ago and i am still loving it today thanks to him and all the other pros in the world.

In conclusion Mike Weir is a great person on and off the course, and he is an inspiration to anyone who plays golf. By doing this project I learned alot of cool things about him and his charities and lifstyle.
