My Dog

My Hero is my dog Willy because he plays with me a lot. One time we played at the dog park for one hour straight, running and playing with a tennis ball. And after that, I gave him a bath because he smelled bad. He also does funny tricks. One time I threw a Frisbee across Alta Laguna Park and before 5 seconds he caught it because he's a mini greyhound! He even tricks my grandma. First, he waits by the door then she lets him out and he comes right back inside for a treat.

When we first got him he was a puppy. We rescued him for our friends because they had another dog that kept hurting him. We rescued him in 2005 when I was six. Now it's 2009 and we still have him. We have another dog too.

Most of the time Willy does these things at my dad's and at my mom's house. When we take him to the dog park he does funny stuff like he races other dogs and all of them start running after him.

And some of the reasons I chose my dog Willy as my hero are because he's kind to everybody and he's a really good dog. Plus, he plays with me when I'm bored, so we play at the park. That's why I chose Willy.
