The Wright Brothers were really famous because they made the first powered flight.
The Wright Brothers were born in Millville, Indiana in 1867. The Wright Brothers lived in a nice family (the Wright family). The Wright Brothers also lived with Katharine, their sister.
The Wright Brothers started with looking at the birds like people did in 555BC. They saw that the wings are curved. So they made a big glider with wings that were 7 feet long and a little bit curved. Then they put the engine made out of rubber bands and metal in. When they were flying it, they needed to lie down. This was so amazing. Wilbur died of typhoid fever in 1912. Orville died of a heart attack in 1948.
I chose my heroes because they used perseverance and they made my life easy and they look cool.
