Wilbur and Orville Wright

by Ethan from Arcadia

The Wright Brothers are true heroes. I recently have learned about their lives, heroic deeds, and have had some thoughts that have really made my brain work. You will enjoy learning about my heroes.

Wilbur and Orville Wright both had an imaginative life. Wilbur Wright was born on April 16, 1867, while Orville Wright was born on August 19, 1871, four years later. When they were children, they loved to tinker with things. They later started a printing press. In 1897, they opened a bicycle shop, selling, repairing, and even manufacturing their own bikes.

There are many heroic deeds that the Wright Brothers accomplished. They provided many people with inspiration, but the main deed they did was that they built the first motorized airplane. It made travel safer and faster.

Learning about Wilbur and Orville Wright has made me think. They must be geniuses…. Or maybe super geniuses because they did accomplish a task that others failed on for years, if not, decades. They also did invent a printing press from junk. JUNK!!! I mean, their brains must be smart from a different angle. Also, they did have big failures in the airplane inventing process, but they didn’t give up. They tried again. Wow!

Two great heroes to know about are Wilbur Wright and Orville Wright. Their lives and heroic deeds have provoked some great thoughts in me. They are my heroes.
