Zack Arison

Who's your hero? The person that would be my hero without question would be my big brother Zack Arison. The three most important characteristics that he has as a person, that makes him my hero is; He is respected by everyone in his community young and old alike. His profession is something that I have wanted to do ever since I was little. The greatest one is when i was in the hospital, he never left mine and my mother's side.

Zack being respected by community was realized when I moved here from Owensboro. Everyone I spoke with that knew Zack had nothing but good things to say. All teachers enjoyed having him as a student and people he deals with in his business speak highly of him also. People in the community think of Zack as someone that will deal with them in a honest way, and that is why I feel he is respected.

As a young boy I always saw Zack working with cars and going to car shows. Seeing the business grow and expand through the years, has influenced me to pursue this profession. Zack went to Ivy Tech and received his automotive certification. This has enabled him to get more extensive training that has helped him in his profession. I look foward to maybe being able to work at this business by his side, or somewhere similar.

The most important reason why I admire Zack as my hero is, because he was there not only for me but for my mother also. I was in the hospital for two and a half weeks with a brain infection. I ended up having to have brain surgery. Zack took us to the hospital, and he stayed the entire time with us, despite the fact that he had a wife and business to help run with his father. He did everything he could to comfort my mom, and everything he could to encourage me to get better, and cheer me up.

What makes a hero? Is it the little things or the little things this person has done, or accomplished throughout their life? Everyone has different reasons for thinking of someone as their hero. Mine are simple and true. Zack is my hero because he is liked by everyone, he is successful in a business I love, and last but not least; he stayed by my side when one of the worst life altering things happened to me that could have changed my life forever. He is not only my brother and my friend, but most of all my hero.
