Soccer is the most exciting sport in the world. My hero was one of the greatest soccer players in the world, leading France to many victories. Zinedine Zidane was born in France on 23 June 1972. Following the 2006 World Cup where he received the Gold Ball as Player of the tournament, Zidane retired from soccer. His parents are from Algeria. They moved to France in 1953 before the start of the Algerian War. Zidane was born the youngest of five siblings. His dad was a ware houseman at a department store and his mom was a housewife. Zidane and his family had a reasonably comfortable life. A hero must be hard working and inspirational. Hard work is a dedication and how much someone put in to their goal to achieve it. Inspiration is when people are motivating you to be like them. Zidane is my hero because he his effort to be the greatest soccer player in the world, and a role model for kids around the world.

Zinedine Zidane started playing soccer when he was five years old. From a young age he worked hard to be the best that he could beAs Zidane was a child and he was growing up, he showed signs of working hard: "Zinedine first played soccer in a plaza outside his house, developing his skills with his older brothers. At the age of nine, Zinedine joined his first organized team, soon winning the captain's armband." Zidane shows he is committed and hard working at a young age. By doing this, it shows his passion for soccer and doing what it takes to be a leader even if it involves hard work. Working hard also helped when Zidane won some trophies: "He was also voted French footballer of the year, European footballer of the year, and FIFA world player of the year." Winning all these titles shows Zidane's dedication to being a good player and good person. These weren't titles that were just given out. He has to work really hard to earn them and prove he's good enough. Zidane it's a hard working player and he deserves to be where he is right now.

Zidane is not only hard working, but he is inspirational to many beginning soccer players. He just wasn't the leader of his club team: "Zinedine Zidane was the toast of France after leading that country to its only World Cup soccer championship in 1998." Zidane is very well known for so many good things. He was the best soccer player of the world. Soccer isn't the only thing that he is inspirational for: "Zinedine was also important for the role he played in unifying a multicultural French population. An iconic figure on France's most successful team, Zinedine embodied all that France had gained through acceptance of diversity." Soccer isn't the only thing Zidane care about. He also cares about his Nation. He was able to change society in French soccer even though there was a culture divide and he changed it for the best. Zidane is important in many different ways.

Zidane was committed to be idolized by kids. To do that he had to be the best soccer player in the world. Zidane worked really hard to get where he was and became a role model to many kids and even soccer players. Zenedine Zidan was one of the best players of his generation and one of the top players of all time. His style of play amazes me and many others. Zidane is an amazing player and person. He deserves the title of my hero. Zidane has gone through a lot of things and had overcome his obstacles. And also he has never given up for anything to reach his goal in his life.
