120266Alexander Hamiltonhttps://www.biography.com/people/alexander-hamilton-9326481How did a penniless orphan grow up to be one of the reasons why the U.S. became an independent country? Although Alexander's mother died and his father left at a very young age he still successful. Alexander Hamilton wanted to "restart" his life by going to America. Despite Alexander inspiring many orphans, that wasn't his greatest achievement. Alexander went through a lot to join the American Revolutionary War. Alexander Hamilton came from humble beginnings and overcame all his problems so he could be successful. His parents left at a very young age so he was homeless. During a hurricane his mother died of an illness. Hamilton lied about his age so he could go to a better school.

Alexander was a scholar and was sent him to America. He went to King's College which is now known as Columbia University. His career was that he wrote about political books. He dropped out of college so he could join the war. Alexander went to go to well respected people to seek advice.

Alexander had done many good things but his greatest yet was becoming a Founding Father. Alexander wasn't satisfied with the Articles of Confederation. So what - many people also didn't like the Articles of Confederation which led to the Constitution. After George Washington became a president he made him the nation's 1st Secretary of the Treasury. Alexander Hamilton was requested a duel with Aaron Burr. During the duel he got shot in the rib and died 30 hours later.

Alexander had to quit college to join the Revolutionary War. His 1st battle was the Battle of Long Island which later retreated to New York. At the Battle of Harlem Heights, he caught the attention of George Washington. Later George Washington assigned him as a lieutenant colonel.

Alexander Hamilton inspires me to not to give up because when the times Alexander didn't give up I would have given up. This is true bravery because Hamilton had lost everything and he joined the Revolutionary War to help America. He is a true hero because he was a respected political figure during the Revolutionary War. Even though Alexander is deceased he continues to inspire many others to this day.
