Anne Sullivan (1866 - 1936)

Anne Sullivan was Helen Keller's teacher. She is best known for having taught Keller to communicate despite the fact that her famous pupil was born deaf and blind.
Known for her devotion to her student, Sullivan went to classes with Helen and tutored her through the Perkins Institute, The Cambridge School for Young Ladies and Radcliffe College.
