Ben Carson, Neurosurgeon

The bottom figure is Dr. Benjamin Carson, a neurosurgeon. He is my hero because he separated conjoined twins. In particular, this pair of twins that I drew, Ladan and Laleh Bijani (top), had been living together for 29 years. They asked Ben Carson to separate them so they could live as individuals. Dr. Carson performed the surgery, but the girls unfortunately died soon afterwards. This contributed largely to neurosurgery, though.
