Since 1977, Marlo Bartels has created permanent works of art to enliven and enhance cities from Laguna Beach to Washington, DC. His private commissions can be seen internationally as far away as Jamaica. The Chess Set on Laguna's Main Beach, the Fountain at the Festival of the Arts, and the Brooks St. Steps are all public examples of his unique vision for his local community.
