My hero is Bill Gates. He founded Microsoft. He was born October 28, 1955, in Seattle, Washington. According to the magazine “Forbes,” he is the richest man in the world and has been for the last 10 years. He is worth approximately $51 billion. WOW! That is why he is my hero.

Gates has several charities that he gives to, such as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, which supports global health and learning. Some of his money has gone to fund college scholarships, AIDS prevention, and disease prevention in other countries. Gates was even made a Knight Commander of the British Empire. Gates has always known the power of money because his father was a famous lawyer and his grandfather was a national vice bank president.

I also look up to Bill Gates because we share a common characteristic. We are both gifted. It is reported that he has an IQ of 160. I am also active in my school's gifted program. This tells me that I can do anything!

As you can tell, Bill Gates inspires me with his wealth, and someday, I want to be just like him.
