His fortune is estimated at 90 billion US dollars. In July 26, 2017 Forbes magazine classed Bill Gates as second richest man in the world with a fortune of 90.2 billion US dollars, dethroned by the founder of the Amazon.com site Jeff Bezos who has a fortune of 90.7 billion US dollars.
