https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Bill_Gates_2018.jpgBill Gates is one of the most well-known innovators in the world. Gates is proceeded by his reputation as the multi-billionaire that co-founded Microsoft in 1975, alongside long-time friend Paul Allen. Together, they created one of the most widely used computer systems in the world. However, perhaps his most important work can be found in the private foundation he co-founded with his wife.
The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation began in 2000 and has since grown to be the largest private foundations. Bill uses this foundation to solve world crises. Whether it's finding real solutions to Africa's ever-increasing drinking water issues or the world-wide eradication of polio, Bill uses the same strategy: research as much as possible and gather a team of experts that can help he create lasting impacts. Bill combines groups displaying creativity, ingenuity, and expertise to make actual differences in the world. He doesn't give a quick fix to a problem. He finds solutions that are realistic and can stand the test of time.
Bill Gates is important because he uses his money to help people in the best ways possible. He does not rely on himself to solve everything. He puts aside his ego, learns, and lets people that know more than him about a topic do what they can to help. Gates is not always the solution to the problem, but his allowance of teamwork for the greater good is what makes him successful.
