My hero's name is Cesar Chavez. He was born on March 31, 1927, in Gila Valley near Yuma, Arizona. He was a Mexican-American farm worker in California. He always helped people. He quit school when he was in the eight grade. His family was poor.
He did not finish school. He hated schol. Cesar's father lost his business and he had to move his family back to the Chavez form. Chavez's biggest success was that he fought for the Mexican workers to make sure they got paid because they were working so hard.
I think that Cesar Chavez is my Hero because he likes to help his people to be rich and because he doesn't want his Mexicans to work on the farm.
One of his famous sayings was "you must stay with one thing," he said, "and just hammer away, hammer away, and it will happen." He never stopped trying.
