Jackie Chan was born April 7, 1954. Jackie Chan took 3 months longer to be born than most babies. Jackie's mom had cesarean section which almost forced Jackie's father to sell him because of the bills . Luckily their friends helped them pay for the hospital bill. In 1960 Jackie's family moved to Australia.

When Jackie was in Australia he did not do well in school so his parents sent him back to attend drama academy in Hong Kong. While Jackie was there he learned martial arts. "Jackie lived at the drama academy until he was 17 years old.

Jackie Chan is my hero because even before he started his career as a movie actor Jackie had to endure 10 years away from his family. Jackie also had to train for his martial arts. When Jackie started his career as an actor he preformed dangerous stunts all by himself. After he left to make movies in america Jackie helped the homeless by raising money for jackets so more homeless people would get jackets.

Jackie Chan is a hero because he has amazing skills that not many people have. He does not use these skills for bad but to defend himself if some attacked him. Jackie is a very honest person not only in the movies but when he is living his life. I think Jackie Chan is a very nice person for helping the homeless. That to me is heroic.

Jackie Chan is a hero because Jackie fights crime in movies and t.v. shows called Jackie Chan Adventuers. In the movies he is always the good guy, he also saves people and is never stoped whether he is stuck or is has to do an impossible stunt Jackie always pulls through or finds away around it.

Jackie Chan is a true hero because he helped the homeless by giving them clothes to wear. He is an inspiration to people who want to learn martial arts, drama and be actors. Jackie Chan is a true hero to me because he shows that you can be whoever want to be
