Chen Shih-chung

There are lots of heroes in the world. A hero is important to people. Everyone has their own hero. It can be a superstar, a teacher or a parent. My hero is the current Minister of Health and Welfare in Taiwan – Chen Shih-chung.

He was born in Taipei in 1953. He is a dentist, but now he is the commander of the Central Epidemic Command Center. During the Coronavirus outbreak, his daily press conference reports Taiwan’s confirmed cases and makes the related information transparent to the public. It is very helpful. He is my true hero. He is Taiwan’s true hero, too. In Taiwan, we are very proud of him.
