Choppie the Cat

Choppie

To most people a pet is pet but Choppie my cat, is more than a pet. Choppie was a fluffy calico cat. her fur had a mixture of black, orange, gray, blond and white. Choppie had a great life but in 2005 she had stomach cancer. She was on medication for a little bit, but after a couple weeks she was put down (that means when a pet is too sick and the vet can't help it, the vet gives it a shot with a needle that kills it)

When I was a baby, Choppie treated me like her kitten. She would let me pet her and if I was sick she would curl up right next to me trying to keep me warm. She would lick me like she was giving me a cat bath.

Choppie fun facts:
* after my mom or dad took a shower, Choppie licked the steam off the sides of the shower!!!
* Choppie loved to watch TV (what a couch potato)
* Choppie was a big cat but, she had a very short tail
