Chris Kyle loved serving his country as much as he loved his family. That shows how many sacrifices he made and how dedicated he was. Chris Kyle's family includes his wife Taya, son Colton and daughter McKenna. They live in Texas. From a young age Chris and his brother were raised in the Texan life. They had guns since 7 or 8 and learned how to ride a horse “before” they could walk. Chris also used to do bull riding back when he was in high school, and suffered from a serious injury, that made him get pins in his hands and injured his ribs. Chris quit college to work on a ranch, all of his life experiences helped to train him for all the challenges that were ahead. The most important place in Chris’s life is Texas, he was born and raised there, and started his family there. 123426Chris Kyle With Guntime.comOne of Kyles many traits was that he was courageous and he wasn't scared of anything and was able to overcome challenges. To be courageous means that you have to be strong and be fearless, you cannot be scared of anything, and you have to pass adversities. “After entering the city of Nasiriya in the war’s early days, Kyle stationed himself atop a building seized by the SEALs. Through the scope of a bolt-action .300 Winchester Magnum, Kyle watched as a Marine convoy approached. Fifty yards away, he suddenly saw the door of a small house open and a woman step outside with her child. As she neared the Marines, Kyle watched through the crosshairs as the woman reached beneath her robe and pulled out a yellow grenade.“Take a shot,” ordered Kyle’s platoon chief. Kyle hesitated as the Marines continued to march closer. “Shoot!” cried the chief. Kyle squeezed the trigger twice. The woman fell dead to the ground along with the exploding grenade, which did no harm to the Marines”(Gale, a Cengage Company). Kyle had to act fast and he had to be brave, this courageous act from Kyle saved a lot of people from harm's way. If he would have missed his shot or he didn't notice her, the woman could have killed many people, including the Marines, herself, the small child, and people around her. Kyle had to move fast and he couldn't afford to hesitate or be scared, because he knew that he was the only one who could save them. Kyle even said that it was his duty to shoot and he didn't regret any of his actions, because that woman was already dead and it was his duty to help and protect not only the Marines but also innocent bystanders from entering harm's way. What makes him such a great hero is how he instantly knew what he had to do and he didn't hesitate because he had to save them. Kyle was fearless and did whatever he put his mind to. He did not shy away from a challenge and did his best to save people from harm. “After Kyle’s initial deployment to Iraq in 2003, he returned to fight in Fallujah in 2004, Ramadi in 2006 and Baghdad in 2008. On each tour of duty, the fighting grew fiercer and Kyle’s job grew harder. Insurgents who once carried guns now toted rocket-propelled grenades. Kyle still proved a skilled marksman, though, even killing an enemy fighter 1.2 miles—or 21 football fields—away on a single shot” (Klein). Kyle was fierce, powerful, and a strong person who was afraid of nothing. He fought in so many wars during his Military career and he was even able to get the most kills confirmed in US Military history. He is a great role model and hero who didn't let anything get in his way. He was determined to help and save people and that is what he did. Chris Kyle had incredible courage and was able to do anything he wanted. He worked hard is whole entire life working to be a S.E.A.L. and he wasn't going to let anything get in his way. Chris Kyle was not only a great hero, but he is also a great role model. He was able to accomplish his goal of saving people. He doesn't care about the number of kills that he got, but he does care about how many people he was able to save. He is an influential figure who always wanted to help and protect.

When we sacrifice we become better, sacrifices could include time or money. “After retiring from the U.S. Navy in 2009 he returned to Texas. He then worked at his own sniper training and private-security protection company, Craft International. He also assisted organizations that provided aid to wounded veterans” (Gale, a Cengage Company). Chris Kyle sacrificed his whole life just to help stop evil in this world. Even after his military career ended he still wanted to help the people, so he trained them. Kyle was very successful in his life, because of all the people he was able to save and help. Kyle was a very kind and heroic man. After his Military career ended, he still sacrificed his time, money, and effort so that he can start a business of training. He dedicated his entire life to the Military, he was able to help and save so many people and now even at his retirement he was helping guide people. He is a very gracious and deserving hero. Kyle even had to deal with missing important memories. After he retired, life was hard, but Kyle overcame it. “Life back home was a challenge for Kyle, who acknowledged that he turned to alcohol for comfort at one point. ‘After I was discharged from the military, it was difficult trying to become a civilian,’ he told a lawyer during a deposition for a lawsuit last November. ‘You're in a combat zone one day,’ he said. ‘You come home, and then you have to readjust, and it takes a few days. We just sit in the house, hang with the family and then things get better. But it's simple things of trash blowing across the road, reminded of an (improvised explosive device), you might want to swerve. So that's why you just stay at home’” (Duke). Chris Kyle made many sacrifices for his country, but unfortunately he made so many sacrifices by going to war and training all the time, that when he retired he couldn't adjust and became an alcoholic. He worked very hard in his career. He had to sacrifice time with his wife and even time bonding with his children. It's unfortunate that these things happened to Kyle, because he always had strength and will power and could defeat all challenges that he faced. To deal with all the stress and struggles, Kyle became an alcoholic. It was hard for him to adjust, because all that he knew was war and he's been training and practicing for so long it was hard for him to stop and to change lifestyles. He was a very courageous hero who was strong and never shied away from a challenge. He made dear sacrifices so that he can help others, he was a natural leader and could accomplish anything he wanted.
