Clarisse Agbegnenou

Clarisse Agbegnenou is a French-26-year-old judokate. She evolves in the weight category of -63kg, in which she's almost undefeated. She's my female hero cause she achieved a lot of glorious things. She has a very remarkable list of achievements, maybe the best in the female world, as she holds many titles in the world of judo. She participated in the Olympics alone or with the national French team.  She holds 2 silver medals at world championships, 3 European titles and one Olympic silver medal, in addition to these 3 world championship titles. This year marked a tournament for her because she won the world championship for the third time and she was unbeaten. So she was named Champion of the national french team.

I admire the fact that she acquired those titles so quickly, within just seven years. I can't even imagine the amount of work she must have done at training but also the sacrifices she must have made to reach this level.                                                      She's a great competitor and she made what she likes in life even if it's hard to become known in a male world. She's strong, she never lets herself be taken in, even if she is in difficulty during competitions, she keeps her calm and finds a solution to win.

She's a role model for me, because she succeeded in doing incredible things and I would like to be like her one day or win titles like she did. Even if she is self confident, she is very humble and never stops working hard to achieve her objectives.

She gives everything she has, she helps her little brother to become a champion, she's still devoted to the judo community. I admire her achievements and her qualities that's why I can say that she's a sports hero.
