Connie is someone who shines,
and doesn't need a cape.
Someone who is always kind,
and gives, but doesn't take.
She spends her days fighting for rights,
encouraging black people to fight
for their rights, and others too,
making them see the right point of view.
And when Connie has finished fighting for rights,
she will waste no time and move on.
Every day she will continue her fight,
Until she knows that her side has won.
