Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the greatest football players ever and is known for his skills and goals. He donated 1.5 million Euros to charity. Another good quality is his respect He gave the money for his golden boots (which is a hard trophy to win) to the Palestine kids so they could survive.

Ronaldo was born on February 5, 1985, in Madeira Portugal. He started playing football at the age of 9. One day in school his teacher called him poor, and he threw a chair at her which got him expelled one year later he had heart surgery at the age of 15. His parents did not have the money to afford the treatment but one month later they had saved up and could finally afford it, and 1-week later Ronaldo was back to normal. In 2001 he joined Sporting FC and 2 years later in 2003 joined Manchester United and won 1 Ballon D’Or and 1 Champions League in 2008. He also scored a goal from 50 yards out!  Soon he joined Real Madrid in 2009 and 2013 was his highest scoring season, scoring 69 goals. Ronaldo ended up scoring over 400 goals with Real Madrid but sadly he joined Juventus in 2018 and scored a historic header where he jumped 2 meters high!  He only stayed at Juventus for 3 years and rejoined Manchester United in 2021 and he brought them to the Champions League and scored a goal that saved them in the last second of the game led them to the Quarter Finals, but they lost to PSG.  After that it went downhill for Ronaldo, he got benched for the rest of the season because of a fight with Erik Ten Hag the manager of Manchester UTD and he had enough. So, he left and went to the Saudi league and is currently playing for them. He already has more than 55 goals and 15 assists. In fact, he is getting paid over 200 million EUROS per year! But apart from football he recently bought his mom a Rolls Royce.

One of his greatest achievements was winning the Ballon d’Or 5 times in 2008, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017. To win it you need to be the best player of the year. 

One of his biggest challenges was when he went to school one day, he threw a chair at his teacher because he called him poor. Another challenge was heart surgery at 15 years old, The reason he got it was because he was breathing too fast, but his parents saved up for about one month and could finally afford it and after a week he was back to normal.

Ronaldo is a great football player but there is more than just football in life, and he demonstrated that by being kind, donating blood, and helping his family out, That is why he is a kind and successful football player.
