Erica

My hero is my mom, Erica. Erica is a nurse who works at Fairview as a triage nurse. A triage nurse is someone who has a group of people that are sick, and he or she searches for the person who needs help the most. When I asked Erica about a story to write about her, she said, "There aren’t any big things I do at my job, just a bunch of little ones like helping people find out if they’re sick as a dog, or assisting people pay for pills." Sometimes she aids people get to the hospital if they’re having a stroke. Other times she talks to people who want to do suicide and tell them not to do it. As you can see she helps people when they need it. I look up to her for because she cares so much about other people.
