John Force is a professional race car driver. As a kid he lived in a trailer with his family. His parents didn't really get along, but they stayed together because of the kids. John found an interest in drag racing. After he graduated Bell Gardens High School, he attended Cerritos Junior College to play football. He ended up pursuing his dream and he became a professional race car driver.

He was named Driver of the Year after he won 13 out of 49 races in 1996. He is one of the most recognizable names in NHRA history and drag racing. He is the only racer that won over 100 races. He is still racing and winning today. He is a 14X NHRA POWERade Funny Car Champion. He is also married and has three girls, who also race. His oldest daughter Ashley is now racing Funny Cars.

He is my hero because he went from living in a trailer with his parents and siblings to a 14X NHRA POWERade Funny Car Champion. He has worked hard for what he wanted and got it. He had a lot of obstacles to face throughout his life and he went over them and followed his dreams. He wants his daughters to do the same. He is a great father and drag racer.
