My hero is William Frawley who played Fred Mertz on the I Love Lucy Show. He was in many other Hollywood films in the 1930's and 1940's. He appeared on Broadway before he was famous. He came from a big Irish family. He was born in Iowa on February 26, 1887 and died on March 6, 1966. The reason why he is my hero is because he shows that coming from a big, poor family doesn't mean your dreams can't come true.
