He studied at the University of Palermo. He believed in the justice, in the freedom and equality. Giovanni Falcone played football with Paolo Borsellino. Giovanni Falcone's fight against Cosa Nostra began in 1964 when he won the competition and entered the Italian judiciary. After a few years spent in Trapani, in 1978 he moved to his hometown of Palermo, where he began working first in the bankruptcy section and later dealt with civil law. After the death of judge Cesare Terranova in 1979, he accepted the proposal to move to the Education Office of the criminal section under the guidance of Rocco Chinnici. In the same year Paolo Borsellino joined him. The two inflicted various blows on the Sicilian mafia, even if these were fatal for their lives. We chose him because the danger of the Mafia is a subject very close to our lives.
