You have stolen my dreams and my childhood with your empty words. And yet I'm one of the lucky ones. People are suffering. People are dying. Entire ecosystems are collapsing. We are in the beginning of a mass extinction, and all you can talk about is money and fairy tales of eternal economic growth. How dare you!

Greta has been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize and is the youngest person to ever receive the title of Time's Person of the Year. She has travelled around the world to different protests and marches to speak about the climate crisis. She has even given a speech at the UN Climate Action Summit. Greta is heroic not only for being adamant about having adults do better when it comes to climate change, but also because she has inspired so many young people to do the same. Her actions have set the world on a trajectory to improving and reducing the effect of climate change on our planet. Even world leaders, such as Donald Trump, have seen her actions. She is an inspiration to young people across the world and is proof that young people make a difference.
