A hero is dedicated and works hard to achieve their goals. A hero is also someone who is brave and they never give up no matter what. My hero is Eddie Guerrero. Eddie’s important to so many people because he was a great person and entertainer. He made people laugh and we enjoyed seeing him perform.

Eddie was born on October 9, 1967 in Juarez, Mexico. People admire him because he treated his friends like family and he was a great example for someone who works hard and does their best. Three of his best friends are Rey Mysterio, Dave Batista, and Chris Benoit. Eddie has three brothers named Mando Guerrero, Hector Guerrero, and Chavo Guerrero. His nephew Chavo Guerrero Jr. found him dead in his hotel room in Minneapolis, Minnesota in a Hotel. Eddie died from heart failure caused by undiagnosed arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease and enlargement of the heart.

Eddie’s ring names were Mascara Magica, Black Tiger II, Eddy Guerrero, El Caliente, Latino Heat, and Eddie Guerrero. He was trained by his father Gory Guerrero. Throughout his career, he teamed up with his brothers Chavo and Mando as well as El Hijo del Santo, Chris Benoit, Chavo Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, and others. At the tournament for the United States Heavyweight Championship it all began when Eddie defeated Ultimo Dragon, Billy Gunn, and Chris Benoit to win the title.

In 1993, Eddie began wrestling in Japan for New Japan Pro Wrestling as the Black Tiger II. Eddie was 5ft. 8in. and weighted 228lbs. He won the WCW World Cruiserweight Championship twice in 1997. Eddie defeated Rios after arriving at ringside in a 1957 Chevrolet and even wrestled in his tuxedo pants and a bow tie. He defeated Chris Jericho for the WWF European Championship with the help of Chyna. Eddie returned to RAW on April 1, 2002, attacking Rob Van Dam and reuniting with Chris Benoit.

Eddie was a person with a big family and even bigger heart. Eddie Responded to Eric Bischoff’s actions by forming Latino World Order (or LWo). He is survived by his wife, Vickie, as well as his three daughters Shaul age 14, Sherilyn age 9, and Kaylie Marie age 3. Eddie died on November 13, 2005 and was inducted into the 2006 “Hall of Fame”.
