Hope Ann Hovde-Ayers

I picked my mom because if there was one person I would want to be like, it would be her. She is always generous and hard working. Mom always thinks of her family before herself. Whenever I feel down, she knows how to make me feel better. My mom is a great story teller, and she can get people to believe anything!

My mom has accomplished a lot. She was a special education teacher to help influence the way special needs students were treated by teachers. Mom has successfully raised my brother and I. In the Osseo School District, she started a transition program for special needs kids to get jobs and to get into college.

Mom has influenced me in many ways. She always encourages me to speak out about my beliefs and to be considerate to other people. My mom has always been a hard worker and never stops until the job is done. I have noticed that I tend to take after her even when I'm not trying to because she leads a lot with example.
