My Uncle Herman

My definition of a hero is a person that saves lives and is willing to risk his life to save others. Also a person who can take the time to listen to you when you have a problem or help you when you need him the most.

The thing that my uncle did to make the world a better place is he saved lives from fires and car wrecks. He is a person that changes other people by saving their loved ones. I chose this person to be my hero because he does things that most people would never even think of doing.

I think my uncle is a hero because he is a firefighter and he saves lives by running into fires and risking his life to save others. He is an awesome role model. He sets good examples for his kids and his nieces. I think he is a hero because he can tell his kids and his wife goodbye and go on a call and maybe never make it out of the fire ok, so that's the risk he takes to save people like you!

He is a good listener when you need to talk. He was a very good kid growing up and he wanted to become a firefighter so that he could save people's lives. My uncle encouraged me to do things like dance, the thing I love to do. Also just things to keep me out of trouble.

He saved a lot of people while the other firefighters tried to put out the fires. I consider all of the firefighters that I know as my heroes. That is why I am writing about the firefighters. My uncle Herman is a good role model. He has accomplished a lot of things in his life and now he has a wife and three kids. He is a loving and caring person to everybody!!! I think that all firefighters are heroes in my eyes because they save lives no matter what situation they are in.
