You should only use images that you have created, or that you have explicit written permission to use. The MY HERO Project encourages our users to contact their heroes/organizations to ask for permission to use images that can be included on your MY HERO webpage. This is a great way to contact your heroes!
If you are unable to contact your hero, there are other resources that you can use...
Wikimedia Commons contains hundreds of thousands of images that are free to use.
