Ion Creanga

To choose a hero is not easy.We can have more than one.I would like to talk about the writer of all the children and teenagers in Moldova and Romania. So my hero  is   Ion Creanga. He wrote many stories for all the children. He wrote fairy-tales too. When I was small my mother read me his books. At the kindergarten the educators did and at school I read a lot from our school library. I found at home my mother's books and I could read my favourite writer's tales.  His books are the cultural heritage of Moldova. His famous books are "The Goat with Three Kids" "Danila Prepeleac" ,"Story of Harap Alb" "Ion Turbinca", "The story of the pig", "The Two Money Bags", "The Human Silliness", "Pacala" etc . His main novels are "Memories of the childhood" His was the best friend of other famous poet Mihai Eminescu.

I chose this HERO because he has many positive qualities and I can inspire myself. I admire his childhood full of adventures and I know I do a lot of tricks myself. He is Moldovan children's hero and everybody knows his adventures. In school we organize different concerts and contents on his opera.

Ion Creanga was born on March 1-st 1837 in Humulesti. He had seven brothers and sisters: Zahei, Ileana, Maria, Ecaterina, Vasile, Teodor and Petre. His mother Smaranda (his character in the novels) was a simple  woman from a usual village in my country. He started school near the church in Humulesti. After that he studied in Botosani. He is considered one the the most important classics of our literature..He is is famous for his first alphabet, titled The Method of Writing and Reading, in 1867. I like my hero and he will remain forever a source of inspiration for more generations in the future.
