If I have seen further than others, it is by standing upon the shoulders of giants.
Isaac Newton Portraithttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isaac_Newton“Tact is the knack of making a point without making an enemy.” -Isaac Newton. This quote relates to Isaac Newton because he uses his wits instead of his fists to prove his points. Sir Isaac Newton had a rough childhood: “He was born after the death of his father, and in his third year his mother married the rector of a neighboring parish, leaving Isaac at Woolsthorpe in the care of his grandmother” (Isaac Newton, Sir). He came up with his ingenious inventions in England, from optical devices to creating theories that many people from today know. Many people consider him a hero for his scientific discoveries, but what really made him a hero was his positive influence on others and his positive change to the way of human thinking in science.
The Principiahttps://www.britannica.com/biography/Isaac-Newton/media/413189/3009Isaac Newton´s positive influence on others made him a hero. “In 1687, he published his most acclaimed work, Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica (Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy), which has been called the single most influential book on physics”(Isaac Newton Biography). This quote shows that Isaac Newton’s book influenced a great number of people’s minds to a point where the Principia is called the “single most influential book on physics”. “While Newton will mostly be remembered as a scientist who discovered more about the universe and invented calculus, he is still known as being a great inspiration and hero who helped people learn what everyone knows today”(Isaac Newton). This quote shows that many people revere him for his groundbreaking discoveries. Isaac Newton's positive influence on helped motivate others which helped them achieve their dreams that they probably couldn't do before.
Another reason Isaac Newton should be considered a hero is because he changed the way of human thinking in a beneficial way. “He made major contributions in mathematics and theoretical and experimental physics and achieved a remarkable synthesis of the work of his predecessors on the laws of motion, especially the law of universal gravitation”(Isaac Newton, Sir). This quote shows that Isaac Newton changed human thinking when he significantly improved his predecessors laws of physics. “Newton, Sir Isaac (1643–1727), English mathematician and physicist, who brought the scientific revolution of the 17th century to its climax and established the principle outlines of the system of natural science that has since dominated Western thought” (Newton, Sir Isaac). This quote shows that Isaac Newton changed human thinking by it saying that his principles of natural science has dominated Western thought ever since. Isaac Newton’s impact to science and math was a huge deal to others up to today.

Others believed Newton was the most influential scientist in the world: “Newton was voted as having the greater impact on science and humankind in general over theoretical physicist Albert Einstein, whose theory of relativity led to the development of modern physics” (Isaac Newton, Sir). This quote shows that still after 400 or more years, many people think that Isaac Newton is the greatest inspiration to them. ”The publication of the Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica in 1687 marked an epoch in the history of science; it also ensured that its author could never regain his privacy” (Newton, Sir Isaac). Newton’s work impacted science in a whole new way which made him a monumental figure in the history of science. Sir Isaac Newton also used his wits instead of his fists to prove points which led him to being a monumental figure in science and an inspiration to all people for years to come.
